How to Make Synthetic Dyes

Before the creation of synthetic dyes, we probably used indigo and weld. The yellow dye kind of fades with light and what you're left with is blue. That's not what you want. You want to green. So when you're creating new dyes, you're having to think a lot about the different conditions under which these things are going to be exposed.
