The Limits of Science Fiction

The idea is that civilizations are going to accumulate the stars, all the useful ones anyway, in their home galaxy. Do the planets around those stars come with them? Yeah, I mean, I think they could decide if they wanted to. Just think of all the science fiction writing that could come out of this idea, right? You know, it's limitless.
