The Promise of a Reckoning

The coming of Jesus is the promise of a reckoning. The kingdom of God is like this scooping up and then sorting out it's a promise. And if there's anything that scandalous and the message that Jesus brings, it's what how you thought you were going to build or create this kingdom. How you thought God was going to act is not power over, but an extension of invitation to all. It's grace so that those lines become blurred when people seek to be a recipient of the promise of God.
