How to Build a Research Strategy

Building a research strategy is more about elevating the infrastructure and the practice of research in an organization adjacent to the business needs. If you feel like, oh, we don't have the tools or capabilities to even go after that customer group, then maybe that actually starts to tie in to building the resources, the budget, the tools to spread your impact across different customer groups. So I could see it playing a role. It will be largely dependent on your organization and what you're facing. But I think you'd be remiss not to consider it when you're thinking about building your strategy.
