What's So Powerful About Them?
The tapes stayed underground for three years until smali land declared independence. The radio hargesa team unearthed them, but nobody had really been through everthing that was buried in two thousand nine. Jammo started cataloguing what he had in a giant excel spread sheet then digitizing just himself and a team of volunteers. But they're only a small team, and they have thousands of casettes to get through. So there's a lot, still lot of work to do. And this is where we get back to that moment that we started the story with the radio station employees frantically bear ing as many tapes as they could in that underground room.
