The First Time You Made a Political Statement
When was the first time that you decided to make a political statement? And what factors did you weigh to decide it was worth speaking up? Well, there's actually two parts to this. My father and mother were demonstrating against the vihitnom war at berkeley when i was young. The family has been politically active for as long as i remember. So i've always had a belief of value and instinct that we are citizens first. We owe it. It's not just entitlement, its obligations and duties.
