The Story of William Faulkner

Faulkner was born into a family of literary royalty. He failed out of English in high school and had to repeat at least the 11th grade, if not one other grade. His early poetry is basically plagiarizing Swinburne,. It's like almost, you know, it's one of those swap out a couple words here and there right? So Joyce did that too, by the way. Faulkner meets a guy in Oxford named Philip Stone, who's a couple years older than him when I believe his grandpa owns a bank. In 1918, he moves up with Phil Stone near Yale for work as filing clerk for Repeating Arms Company.
