'I was just very idealistic. It was like, this is what my patients need. This is what I want to deliver,' he says. 'But the only thing I hadn't really thought about properly was the finances' He had no idea why Boots eventually closed - they'd been running for five years and still hadn't made a profit. The dentist now runs his own dental practice in London's West End.
