The History of the Front Garden
The history of the front garden is often as rich as the wild life that grows within it. Front gardens aren't places of pure art, they always have a practical component. When i was just starting in my horticultural career, i went to work for an international oligarch who had put some millions into his country house. And you start thinking about growing things up and where you can cast shadows on the ground... there is no end to the possibilities when she starts seeing this proper three dimensional space.
