The drummer jimmy cobb died of lung cancer at the age of 91 in may of 20 20. Jimmy cobb made his living playing the drums for about 70 years, proving himself adequate. Myles davis when he went into the studio to record what would turn out to be the best album in history, he wanted to just make it sound like Time floats floating on its own.
