You Don't Give Your Kids the Same Attitude Back
When we add complex kids, we add such complexity to parenting. You really have to discard everything you think about parenting and soof rewrite a rule book just for each of your kids. So how do we put paws on that and respond in a better way? We should be parenting individuals. That's all another topic we could talk about another time. It's so incredibly easy for us to get wrapped up in yelling when things don't work. Yet, we're wired, in kind, to respond in kind. And the pause, and thi space, really puts a space between what is happening in front of us with our kids, and what is happening inside of us with us.
