The Dormatorium

The etymology of the word dormitory means the sleeping place, the dormatorium. And I think of the healing temples of Asclepius where people would come from the ancient world seeking healing and solutions to problems. The last part was the confirmation by the God, so they would take live serpents and suspend them near the ear of the person who is ill, and the serpent licked their ear. It was the sign that the God approved of the interpretation. So I'm finding that it's important that he locates the dormatorium, the place where he belongs, but also the placewhere he can dream.
