The Greatest Inventor, Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison was the most successful inventor of the 20th century or of any century. He patented more than 1,000 devices at the US patent office and almost all were brought into commercial production within his lifetime. The fear of failure causes people to try fewer and fewer things, thereby lowering the probability that they will ever achieve anything of consequence.
