The Relationship Between Classical Poetry and Music
The word music comes from the greek word musique, which means the domain of muses. Muses were not just wordsmiths by any means; they were dancers tepsicarea and singers like melpomene. And so the greek tragedies and comedies were had choruses of between 15 and 24 singer dancers who were accompanied with this much more blaring sound of the double pipes,. a bi an a little bit like the magpipes.
