In 20 20, according to the fbi, there were 21 thousand 570 murders, which is a forty 961 murder increase over 20 19. And 77 % of them were committed by gun, right? So, i mean, something that immediately occurs to me reading that statistic is that sereal killers take the pressure off of guns because it's comparatively very rare for the public to become fixated on a sereal killer who uses a gun as a primary weapon. Focusing on cerial killers also, it's like you'r focusing on the hard thing rather than the easy thing. It does seem to me that, like, restricting gun access is rendered impossible, effectively, at this point
