Is It a Matter of Liberal Versus Conservative?

Sitting scholars without providing their reasons can be weak. Or worse, catholic scholars can be liberal and have access to grind just as anyone else. So this is not a matter of liberal versus conservative. This is a matter simply being homnest with the historical evidence. I mean, i you are not not showing yourself to be orthodox by being dogmatic in the face of contrary evidence. And so i'm perfectly confident that orthodoxy is fully compatible with being rationally honest.
