Is It Really Arbitrary Which Elements of Composition Are Preserved?

When you read an e book, they almost always are going to keep the author's original paragraph breaks right? Is not going to rearrange what's a paragraph or make shorter paragraphs or something. And i see no reason wher why it would have to be that way, you know. Lake: It feels weird that i shouldn't have internal consistency regarding when a page ends and when it begins.
