The Western Powers Are Trying to Put Bazoom Back in Power
Bazoom: Niger stands out as the last bastion of respect for human rights amid authoritarian movements that have overtaken some of our neighbors. Bazoom wrote, quote, with an open invitation from the coup plotters and their regional allies, the entire central Sahel region can fall to Russian influence via Wagner group. He only has the support of 27% of his population, according to the Economist magazine, whereas the military government has thesupport of three quarters of the population. But according to the West, democracy doesn't mean that; it means allowing your country's natural resources to be exploited by foreign corporations.
