Is Democracy a Stand in for Pluralism?
Don't they seem to be using democracy just as a kind of stand in for pluralism? Yes, right. Because everything's framed in terms of discourse and as discursive effects. And so, like, the image of democracy we're left with at the end of the book is arguing over what we mean by equality or disagreement. But i think that if we do, and, and i think io, i do want to maintain, so i accept the pluralism, right? Do want to maintain a kind of class corps.
