I love rare essence more than any band on earth, but it just frustrates me that the energy and the engineering of when I hear them live or even some of their live mix tapes, that's not captured on a studio cut from me. So why was sardines and the word just a one off 12 inch? Was there ever a conversation about recording junkyard as a band or I'm not as a band as a full album? And I think not long after I ended up leaving Def Jam. It may have been that it was just like towards the end of the time that I was doing stuff with Def Jam and then just stopped.
