How heavy is the sky?

CHAPTER

The End of the Sky

The Carmen Line is somewhere between 50 and 62 miles above the Earth's surface. If you drove a car at freeway speed straight up into the sky, it only take about an hour to get there. But once you got there, you wouldn't know it, because the Carmen Line is invisible. It marks the point where planes can no longer fly because there isn't enough air to support them. Orbital Force is the energy that pushes objects like satellites and space junk in circles around the Earth. Those things are moving above the Carmen Line - which is where planes can fly.
