I've written over 700 columns now in the last eight years. Never had a legal issue over any of them. Because of my training as a da newspaper editor, i'm very aware of where that line is on legality. I only had one half off come rulling against me in five years and it wasn't the infamous megamarko one. Although i operate within a very opinionated er style, i do like to that i based it on hard fact... There's nothing worse than a fact that's wrong. And they know this, if we just get a sloppy fact. Bad.
