The App Store and Google Play are riddled with scam TOTP apps. The reason they're scams is because they'll generate TOTP codes for you, but they're doing everything from like using dark patterns to trick you into paying. New vulnerabilities were discovered by Quarks Lab researchers who said the flaws could impact of devices with some security features.
