Is There a Pantheon? Or a Pantheon?

Both christianity and islam rose to the top in a survival of the fittest type battle between all the various religions. The fact that we have the ability to pick our religious orientation like it was a buffet is a bit of a historical oddity, but it's not unique. Religion is so intensely personal that even under the most repressive regimes, people often sway from their prescribed beliefs.
