The Horse's Attaining the Affordance
A lot of it comes back to maybe I don't know maybe the amplification of affordances which we think the horse should perceive. These more behavioural perspectives that are more rooted in what I guess we'd call like a harder pedagogy where no the horse has to move right because they have to go through this particular gate or they have to jump over this particular height. The horse is attending to the instruction because it's probably rooted in some like violent perspective you know it’s probably rooted in them like being here to physically being moved or being whipped or whatever it might be and then they might pull over them. So the person observing like yeah alright this strategy is working the horse is doing
