Calvinists are reading effectuality into it. They're saying, well, godis effectually trying to save everybody on arminianismd he must be failing. No, arminians and provisionists alike are not saying that god's effectually tryingto save people and failing. We're saying that god has provided a way of salvation. That's why the first century christians were called the way. Any one can believe and be saved.
