Helen: I was thinking about the first time I came across the Combi River Collective which was in undergrad during a feminist course. Barbara: How did the right wing get a hold of the concept of identity politics? Helen: The art world is guilty of this it has become so elastic that in a way it is absolutely erased the original definition and how depressing it is to think that you know black women still have the right to determine our own political agenda.
