The Universe Is Expanding
There is nothing beyond the space that we inhabit. It is all there is, and there is nothing outside of it. So imagine our little craft all alone in nothingness - every minute there's more nothingness. Has this always been happening? We think it's been happening since the very beginning. If the big bang was the origin of the universe, ten this expansion has been going on for 13 point seven billion years. Does that mean that it takes a longer time to go from one part of the universe to another? Is that absolutelyabsolutely so.
