The Dosecke Tunnel

In 1902, Gustav Schulz got permission from the city to start work on the tunnel. He hired two Chinese laborers who did most of the digging. The C-K at the end of this tunnel is one of seven embedded in the La Jolla Cliffs. Geologists think they're around 200,000 years old.
