The general consensus in the comments of that thread, for now at least, is geekwer. I don't know that home assistant is quite grasping the problem that faces them quite yet. That's the level of integration that you need to get to in order to make it more approachable and more accessible for people. i can't imagine giving him a vanilla raspberry pie with nothing except home assistant even flashedon to it, and say, here, go ultimate your house. And no, i stay on top of up dates, and i do try and figure stuff out, and i, i don't know, it's just difficult.
