The Discovery of Uranus

Uranus was the first planet discovered via the aid of a telescope. It happened in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel. At first he did not realize he had discovered a new planet in the solar system. The tail is an elongated cloud trailing off of the comet away from the sun.
