The notion that people have lost the ability to imagine a future much different and much better than what they no, to me, it's one of the most worrying aspects of where we are now. I mean, if you look at e of the the percentage of americans who think that their kids lives will be no better than theirs, that has been, i sort of monotonic decline since world war too. And there may be a self fulfilling prophecy to this. If you think the future won't be so great, you'll invest less, you won't work as hard, you'll contract your risk taking,. You end up with a kind of social and economic malays.
