In 1973, a new mall opened and near the mall was our first McDonald's. My father said we have $5 to spend on dinner for five of us - which you can't even imagine going anywhere for five bucks now. I found this old menu and it is exactly the menu that we would see at McDonald's. Cheeseburger, 33 cents. Hamburger, 28 cents. Shakes were 35 cents back then. So we could do it. Crazy. Anything else to add? Nope. That's again, trying to cover foundational topics on financial planning. And we'll build on that next time talking about the basic personal finance concepts which largely feed off of financial math.
