Film Review - The Practical Robot on Set
It's really cool the way that sequence wound up. It was effective by getting all of those elements in and out, became a bit of a challenge on the stage. There were constant visual effects updates happening during the mix. We didn't know when to wear things we're going to be taking out. Des Canelie the sound recorders did a fantastic job of capturing the sound. So we had the practical sound of the robot creaking and grinding and everything. Plus it had fans in it.
