The Value of Genetic Testing for Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's genetics is tricky, it's very tricky biologically. 98% of cases of Alzheimer's disease begin to arise around age 60 or 65. Only 2% of all people with dementia have a gene that predisposes them to the disease. People come up with symptoms usually at about age 35 or 40 and will probably die within five to six years.
