Is There a Back-Up Option?
Lebanese middle-class, outwardly mobile people often have a second option in case something happens. I grew up thinking I grew up being told every step of the way in school, at home, it's kind of something that's just kind of ingrained in during the end. And so there was this trying to figure out what the backup option is. So after the war is when I was born in 91 and for me, the 90s were very much a quote unquote reconstruction period where people who sort of in between spaces didn't know whether they should come back or not.
