How Much Megawatt Hours Can a Battery Store?
The average power consumption in California is 30,000 megawatts. Moss landing can cover 1.3% of the power need and 3.2 minutes of consumption. Over the whole year you can see wind and solar producing less in wintertime, more in summer time and less again at the end of the year. The demand is more stable but it has a peak in the summer months where you need a lot of air condition.
