The Day of Purim
Mordecai the Jew was next in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was great among the Jews. The command of Queen Esther fixed these practices of Purim, and it was recorded in writing. So, they will observe these days in the month of Adar on the 14th and 15th of that month with an assembly and joy and gladness before God.
