Women in Deaconing

In 19 86, five when i was on the faculty at westminster seminary, harbicon ordinarily taught the doctrine of the church, but one year he was un sabatical. And because i didn't larly teach it, i brought in a fair number of speakers from from the faculty to make it more of a team o effort. And i brought in dick gaffin to talk about a what the bible says about the dacatet. He said that if paul wanted to indicate that the women were actually women deacons, he could have done it. So unless they get some kind of recognition, they really won't be very effective unless the whole congregation knows these are people
