Google Maps and Giajango: The Cambrian Event

Mapbox and leaflet are both based on open street map which is sort of as I believe like Wikipedia for GeoLocation. You get the location data from the phone and then you need to persist on the back-end to GeoJSON goes there's your website. That only boxes into sections. But one thing I like of this solution is that you don't rely on external services. So sadly for example like Google Maps they start charging or closing or limiting their services. You have to change. Instead with Postgres and Postgres you store everything on your own rather than having it all in a database.
