The Federal Government Is a Different Numbered Republic

When you look at american history, you basically see four periods in which the nature of the federal government changes. And so they say, when n the sort of the form of the state changes completely, it becomes like a different numbered republic. So the current french republic is as the fifth republic, although i would argue that maybe it should be called the sixth. That worked very, verywell for quite a while and then we had the civil war. And in the civil war, basically we sort of shift from a government that is much smaller, and that is still sort of federal in some ways, to a national government.
