Are You Really So Sure About That?

I think the last four or five years should have severely shaken people's confidence. Have you read a book called Bloodlands by Timothy Snyder? No. It's probably the most disturbing book I've ever read. Americans only saw like, like half a percent of the Holocaust. The rest was behind the Iron Curtain. But it's just daggers the imagination, the level of cruelty and suffering and just pure hell realm that could happen for so long in a way that not only no one has experienced, but I think nobody could even imagine what human beings are actually capable of doing to each other.
