Keeping Bison in a Natural Environment

Bison are fed a free choice ration so there's bales of alfalfa, bales of meadow hay. There's free choice corn in bottomless bunks. They self regulate their rut and we give them about 600 square feet of space. And on average, they're getting about 600 sq ft per year. The other thing is a yo-yoing system that makes up for the health differences. It reduces death loss to less than a half a firs because thogts that i've been exposed to aren't as bad.
