The Moral Majority of the United States
Until it was dissolved in 1989, the moral majority wreaked havoc throughout the country on a wide range of social and cultural issues. "We had a relationship where I was sometimes the adult, sometimes the child," she says. After all that, my mother did something totally unexpected: She very quickly pivoted and made me feel completely comfortable and embraced.
