How to Find Intrinsic Motivation in Your Work

I just thought it would be fun to make a ton of money rapping about history. I thought that I'm passionate about that. To do that, you've got to use your own psyche as a kind of metal detector and do some psychological mudlarking. Because how many of my personal projects were not motivated by an intrinsic deep attraction and motivation to that subject? If I do this, then maybe I'll get that sort of equation.
