The Case of Citizens United v. Michael Moore
Citizens United is a 501c3. It has a c4 arm to very conservative organization makes not very good movies that are extremely conservative in nature. They filed a complaint with the FEC and their complaint in 2004 was against the Michael Moore film 9 11. Their complaint was with the ads for Fahrenheit 9 11, where corporate expenditures were designed to influence the election of 2004. The Supreme Court said it deserved an exemption from the general ban on corporate spending and elections.
