Apulin Signaling in Older Mice
In one of our proteomics analyses, we discovered that there's a protein called Apulin that circulates in your blood. The more Apulin you had, that just seemed to correlate with better and better outcomes. And so based on that, we tested out whether if we improved Apulin signaling in older mice, if we could improve the function of their muscle. We got very excited about this. That's kind of the step one. So people knew about it as an exurcine, but didn't know about its connection to aging. Ongevity and muscle function. Yeah. No, I would love to there to be like a day when you actually don't need mice anymore
