The History of the United Auto Workers
When the c i o formed in the thirties, it was really quite politically progressive. A militanta, much further to the left cally, then the a f l. And that pretty much continued the case throughout the existence of the organization. The united auto workers, that's another one that would be good to go over them in a few of their players,. That was union i was in. I was an active member for 38 years. They had quite a history of progressive politics and really playsd a path in winning a lot of ofgans for workers during the early decades.
