EA's Concern About AI Alignment

EA's concern for the humans not yet born and the future in general you were alluded to we sort of talked around this sort of big problem of AI. I think this is a big focus for effective altruism like a lot of EA attention and energy is going to AI related stuff. If you're looking for the places where EA says something very different than conventional ethics this is definitely one of them. The argument basically goes teams at top research labs at tech companies are trying very very hard to develop generally capable AI systems.
