The Differences Between Social Language and Academic Language
There's two things I found in my research which were social language and academic language. So how, obviously, those are two different things, but how can we break down those differences for a learners? Social language is the language that we use in social situations such as informal conversations and of course on social media. Now academic language has to do with setting expectations and making clear what is expected within an environment.
